In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina many of our members, who were affected, have begun to return home.  We are hoping to provide young athletes, in the area, with a great year of programs. We hope that our structured programs will help children heal and recover during these difficult times.

Team Xcelerate gives local athletes the chance to compete in amateur track & field events both locally and nationally.  Team Xcelerate has qualified over 25 atheltes for Junior Olympics in the last 2 summers.  Local coaches provide children with a positive environment to train and grow physically & emotionally, build confidence and self-esteem while promoting good sportsmanship and good citizenship.  Team Xcelerate is dedicated exclusively to the promotion and development of amateur sports, physical fitness programs and helping athletes in their academic endeavors.

This year Team Xcelerate is raising funds to support local youth and keep athletes anticipating their next practice and competition.  Your contribution of $25 or more can help bring this opportunity to New Orleans’ area athletes.
